Yes. Bambu Studio stores paint data as attributes on each triangle inside the 3MF. Ferdelance carries those attributes through every repair step and writes them back on export, along with plate metadata and multi-part sub-models.
Non-manifold edges, open holes, degenerate (zero-area) triangles, duplicate vertices, and inconsistent normals — the usual reasons a slicer reports “model is not watertight” or produces broken walls.
Almost all — but not every one. Files with very large missing regions or self-intersecting geometry can be beyond automatic repair. When that happens the tool says so plainly, suggests stronger settings, and the failed attempt is not counted against your daily free repairs.
