Bambu Studio on Mac has no Fix Model
If you are following a guide that says right-click the model and choose Fix Model, and your copy of Bambu Studio has no such entry, you are not missing a setting. On macOS that item is simply absent. Bambu's own issue tracker has it explained: the Windows build calls a repair library that ships with Windows, and no equivalent exists on the Mac build.
Why it happens
This catches Mac users constantly, because almost every repair tutorial is written by someone on Windows. The menu looks trimmed but is not — other entries such as Simplify Model are present, the repair item just never appears. The same applies to the repair link in the warning banner and the wrench icon in the object list, which are documented for Windows.
How to fix it (about 30 seconds)
- Confirm the geometry is the problem before hunting for a menu item: drop the .3mf or .stl into the Ferdelance checker. It runs in the browser, so it behaves the same on macOS, Windows or Linux, and inspection is free.
- Read the counts. Red is non-manifold edges, amber is open boundaries. A clean model means the slicer is complaining about something else, and no repair tool will help.
- Run Auto-Repair on anything with defects — it welds duplicate vertices, caps holes, splits non-manifold edges and re-aligns normals.
- Export and open the file back in Bambu Studio on the Mac. AMS paint data is carried through, which matters most on multi-colour models.
- Keep the Windows-only guides in mind for the future: when someone tells you to right-click and Fix Model, they are on a different machine than you.

Repairs run 100% in your browser. Your file is never uploaded, and AMS multi-color paint data survives the repair.
